The Chaleur Regional Service Commission is a public organization that offers essential services to the region's population. It is responsible for coordinating and managing common services for the municipalities and the Chaleur Rural District located within its territory.

Project Goals

This complete redesign aimed to transform the Commission's online presence to better meet the needs of citizens and optimize internal processes.

  • Improve the user experience with intuitive navigation and an efficient search system
  • Modernize the interface to reflect current web standards
  • Clearly categorize services and offer self-service tools to citizens
  • Lighten the workload of inspectors by automating certain processes
  • Enable citizens to carry out procedures autonomously

Implemented Solutions

To address the identified challenges, we developed an approach focused on information accessibility and user autonomy.

Optimized Navigation and Smart Search

We integrated a highly visible search bar into the site's header and implemented an intuitive mega-menu to simplify access to different sections. Quick links to the most frequently visited pages were added directly to the homepage.

Modern Design and Clear Structure

The interface was completely rethought with a contemporary design reflecting current trends. Services are now presented by category directly on the homepage, thus making the service offering easier to understand.

Self-Service Tools

An accessible event calendar keeps the public informed of upcoming activities, while a comprehensive FAQ section provides answers to frequent questions, allowing citizens to find information without having to contact inspectors directly.

Results

The new site offers a fluid and modern user experience that greatly facilitates access to information. Citizens can now complete several procedures autonomously, which reduces the administrative workload and improves the efficiency of the services offered by the Commission.
