We implemented an integrated approach that combined modern aesthetics with optimized functionalities to meet the diverse needs of municipal website users.
Modern and Immersive Design
A clean and contemporary design was adopted to highlight Shediac's beauty and dynamism. The homepage features a mosaic of captivating photos, providing an immediate and engaging visual immersion for visitors.
Redesigned and Accessible Navigation
The navigation structure was completely redesigned to be both simplified and logical, ensuring optimal accessibility. Menus and categories were reorganized to allow users to quickly and intuitively find the information they seek.
Optimized Content Organization
To improve readability and ease of access to information, accordions were integrated. This feature allows users to easily select and display only the content sections that interest them, minimizing scrolling.
Efficient Alert System
An alert notification system was implemented to allow for the simultaneous display of multiple important notices. A dedicated page consolidates and details these alerts, ensuring citizens are consistently informed of the latest news.
Results
The new City of Shediac website now offers a modern and accessible user experience, featuring intuitive navigation and improved functionalities. This significantly facilitates access to municipal information for all citizens and visitors.
