Having its head office in British Columbia, Open Door Group's mission is to open doors to well-being through sustainable and meaningful employment for all, supporting inclusive hiring practices to remove barriers to employment. The revamp of the Open Door Group (ODG) website was an exciting project for us as we take great pride in actively contributing to the movement towards a more accessible web. ODG certainly required a website that mirrored its values of inclusivity and barrier-free access. Remaining faithful to these principles, we designed a user-friendly interface that adheres to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). The new design allows anyone, regardless of their capacities, to navigate the website effortlessly and makes it simple for any user to locate information about ODG's programs and services.

A diverse group of users conducted extensive testing in the final phase of the project to ensure the website was user-friendly for individuals with varying abilities, disabilities and those who rely on assistive technology.
